Can you visit the cave without a guide?

No, for the safety of customers and the preservation of the site, all visits must be guided by professionals.

Can you visit the cave with a dog on a leash?

Due to the classification as historical monuments, the presence of animals is prohibited for the conservation of the site.

I have a motor disability, can I visit the cave?

To visit the cave of Foissac, you will have to descend exactly 78 steps. The cave is therefore not accessible to people with reduced mobility. To compensate for this, the visit of the museum in which a video visit is projected, is offered to them.

How hot is it in the cave?

The cave temperature is 12 degrees. We advise you to adapt your outfit accordingly and bring warm clothes.

Wonderful cave with a very competent guide. We saw some humans squeletons! So uncommon! This cave is really unique, sou should see it!
Outside, there is a good place for picnic and chilling also. We will come back!
